
What is Membrane Filter Press?
The slurry is pumped and fills the chambers at a low pressure which gradually builds-up the cake inside. After that, the membranes, of empty chamber type plates, are pressed back to allow cake formation/cake squeezing by pumping water to the backside of the membranes.

- Cakes are obtained with low moisture content compared to normal chamber press.
- Cakes may be disposed of and flattened in layers and sufficiently stable to support a tractor/transport.
- Intensive soluble recovery or removal of contaminants from the cake may be achieved.
